CSA Catapult is pleased to announce that its head of power electronics, Dr Ingo Lüdtke, has been invited to take up an Honorary Visiting Professorship at Cardiff University.

The Catapult has worked closely with Cardiff University since its set up in 2017.  Both are key members of the Compound Semiconductor Cluster.

Professor Jianzhong Wu, Head of the School of Engineering at Cardiff University said: “It’s great for Cardiff University that we continue to build strong, industry-linked relationships with the CSA Catapult, and between us, this is a real opportunity to forge new ground-breaking ideas and bring exciting compound semiconductor commercial reality much closer to research and education.”

Dr Lüdtke said: “I’m delighted to be able to continue to support and expand the collaboration with the university in my capacity as Honorary Visiting Professor and ultimately to help UK industry to adopt compound semiconductors for the technologies of the future and to support the UK government’s target to reach Net Zero by 2050.”
