As with the majority of UK businesses, our normal working practises have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like to reassure all our stakeholders that we are continuing to operate as usual, albeit mostly remotely, and that they can continue to get in touch with us via the usual methods (email, phone, website or social media).

Catapult staff are fully accessible within usual business hours, with telephone or video-conferencing facilities available instead of face-to-face meetings.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification or information should you require it.

Our site remains open for essential lab work to ensure that projects continue to agreed timescales. A dedicated COVID Coordinator controls the site on a day-to-day basis, ensuring staff stay as safe as possible.

A site-wide audit has identified and reduced touch points to reduce virus transmission risk. Improvement actions implemented include automatic doors, acoustic fire door retainers and automatic taps, soap dispensers and hand sanitisers.

Onsite numbers are controlled through the use of authorised work requests, a desk booking system, and both staff and visitor health declarations. These controls form an integral part of our track and trace system.

CSA Catapult takes the wellbeing of its employees very seriously, so all colleagues have been advised to work at home wherever possible, and we have put in place measures to support them to do so effectively.

Onsite staff work within controls that comply with and exceed government guidance. 2m distancing is maintained at all times and dedicated handwashing stations are available throughout the site. A ‘COVID tool’ is provided to all staff to use for opening doors, cupboards etc, further reducing the touchpoints during the working day.

A copy of our COVID-19 Secure sign can be found below.

Please stay safe and we look forward to re-organising in-person meetings and events as soon as it is deemed safe to do so, following government guidelines.
