The Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult is a new organisation set up in South Wales to help industry exploit the significant advances made by UK researchers over the past two decades. The Catapult will provide translational research facilities to accelerate the commercialisation of compound semiconductors in key application areas including: healthcare, the digital economy, energy, transport, defence and security, and space.
A core-team will assist the CEO and Board during the start-up phase of the Catapult. The purpose of the core team is to validate the work to date with additional technical data and qualified business opportunities. This will enable the incoming CEO to prioritise investment decisions relating to facility development and capability building as we establish an operational Catapult.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager and interim HEad in each of its three key underpinning programmes: Power Electronics, RF & Microwave, and Photonics. For further details of these posts please click here.
