Event Disclaimer

Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult Limited (CSAC) runs various events, seminars and conferences from time to time, to update, educate and provoke discussion amongst its clients, potential clients and industry bodies (Events). By attending any Event, you accept and acknowledge the terms set out in this disclaimer and confirm you have read and agree to the corresponding Event Privacy Notice.

  • Booking
    • All bookings shall be made via the relevant Event App.
    • To the extent applicable, all fees are payable in advance of the Event(s) as indicated by us or any Event App (as defined in the Privacy Notice). You may be refused admission if payment is not received prior to the Event(s).
    • CSAC reserves the right to refuse admission to, or to eject from, the Event (whether physical or virtual) any attendee who in its sole opinion places the attendee in breach of this disclaimer, damages property or who represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the running of the Event(s).
  • ConfirmationAfter booking, you will receive attendance instructions which include links to directions and travel information. If your booking has not been acknowledged seven days prior to the Event(s) please contact Anchored In to confirm your booking has been received on hello@anchoredin.uk
  • Cancellation
    • If for any reason you are unable to attend, please let us know in advance as soon as possible.
    • CSAC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event(s) at any time and for any reason. CSAC will provide all attendees with as much written notice (including email) of any such postponement or cancellation as reasonably practicable in advance of the relevant Event.
    • If CSAC postpones the Event and you can no longer attend the postponed Event, once notified, Anchored In shall notify you as soon as reasonably possible
    • By attending the event, you acknowledge that the remedies described in this disclaimer are your exclusive remedies in the event of postponement or cancellation by us, and (to the maximum extent permitted by any applicable laws) in no event shall CSAC be liable for any loss, delay, damage or other liability incurred by an attendee in connection with CSAC’s postponement or cancellation of the Event, howsoever arising, including for travel, accommodation or other costs.
  • Attendance obligations
    • You shall not cause any physical damage to the venue where the Event is held, or any property of CSAC or third parties involved in planning and/or operation of the Event. You shall be responsible for the cost of making good any such physical damage.
    • You shall be respectful and courteous to all attendees.
  • Event Changes
    • CSAC reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at any time prior to or during the Event, to: (a) make alterations to the Event (including any venue); and (b) change the venue, format, content or timing of the Event program, or the identity of any attendees, for any reason and without liability to attendees.
  • General
    • All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by law are, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, excluded from this disclaimer. In particular CSAC gives no warranty, representation, or other assurance in relation to: (a) the presence of any attendee; and/or (b) the results or beneļ¬ts (commercial or otherwise) that may be associated with attendance of the Event.
    • Each Event and any materials which may be supplied as part of an Event shall be provided on an ‘as is’ basis only, and should not be relied upon by attendees. Such materials do not purport to be complete or accurate. No business (including investment) decision should be made based on attendance at the Event or any documents or materials supplied by CSAC.
    • Our Event(s) provide an opportunity to network and meet different businesses in various sectors. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and the information presented on any materials and/or at the Event is for your information only and:
      • does not constitute any form of financial advice;
      • does not constitute any recommendation, invitation or inducement in relation to the products or services of any organisation that may be in attendance; and
      • should not be relied upon by you in making or deciding to make any investment or other decisions.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SEEK INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVICE BEFORE MAKING ANY INVESTMENT DECISION IN RESPECT OF ANYTHING THAT YOU SEE IN OUR MATERIALS, AT OUR EVENT(S) OR OTHERWISE.
